For about 15 years, I have been taking pictures of my wife and daughter from time to time, switching between several digital cameras, but when I discovered the FUJIFILM X-T10, my camera life changed. Or rather, my life has changed.

Having used X-T10 for five years and its successor, X-T30 II, for three years, I am deeply impressed by the evolution of the latest model in the series, X-T50.
The “Film Simulation” impressed me more than anything else in the past and made me think, “I can never go back to a camera without this”. The X-T50 has “NOSTALGIC Neg.” and “REALA ACE”. And the new Film Simulation dial has also been added to change these settings!
When I first learned about X-T50, I was struck by the advances in image stabilization and pixel count, and then this new dial slowly came to my mind.
For those who think, “Wouldn’t it be fine if you could change it within the menu without the dial?” I would like to say, “That would be fine, but it’s a fundamental evolution for this series.”
I think that fans of this series, including myself, are attracted to the joyous experience.
It’s light when you pick it up, so you’ll want to take it off the shelf.
The grip is easy to hold, so you’ll want to hold it.
The tilt LCD has a knob in the upper left corner, which makes you want to tilt the LCD and hold it with your arm extended above your head.
And the clicking sound you get when you turn the dial is so satisfying, which makes you want to have fun trying out different exposure and shutter speeds.
X-T50 also features new Film Simulation modes. You’ll want to experiment with new and previously unused modes.
It is the hands that take pictures using a camera.
Because the camera is comfortable for your hands, you want to take as many pictures as you can.
Before you know it, you’ll be “living a life of taking photos”.
I want to continue to enjoy such a life with my beloved camera.
