Lately, however, I draw a lot of inspiration from looking closely at the world around me, particularly nature. I spend several hours observing the landscape.&#8221; As Piero Percoco states, taking us back to the romantic 19th century vision of painting <em>en plein air<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Percoco&#8217;s gaze is totally contemporary, realistic and conceptual at the same time. From then on, I have always used Fujifilm, moving to the X-T2 and later to the X-T5, always working with fixed lenses. My latest purchase was the XF30mmF2.8 R LM macro lens, which for me is the ideal lens for the direction my work is moving in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the reasons I love Fujifilm cameras is precisely because the SOOC files already have a colour that I really like, plus the VELVIA film simulation is very close to the way I see the world in colour. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FUJIFILM X-T50: let\u2019s focus on the project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;When I was approached by Fujifilm, I was really excited. The idea of producing a project with the new X-T50 simply thrilled me. Being familiar with Fujifilm cameras, I could easily concentrate on the creative part, without worrying too much about the technicalities. I found the X-T50 really amazing because it is very compact, a factor that I immediately appreciated, along with the built-in flash which for me is fantastic &#8211; small but powerful!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/x-t50_piero-percoco_06.jpg?width=1024&#038;height=682\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-149526\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/x-t50_piero-percoco_06.jpg?width=1024&amp;height=682 1024w, https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/x-t50_piero-percoco_06.jpg?width=300&amp;height=200 300w, https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/x-t50_piero-percoco_06.jpg?width=768&amp;height=512 768w, https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/x-t50_piero-percoco_06.jpg?width=400&amp;height=267 400w, https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/x-t50_piero-percoco_06.jpg?width=717&amp;height=478 717w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I really liked the design: from the grip to the simulation dial which allows you to focus more on the colour rendition of the photo, a key factor for me. I really think it is the ideal camera for my needs: a very compact and light body (I was able to take it everywhere with me, in my jacket pocket!) with a very high file quality, thanks to the new 40MP 5th generation sensor is incredible, I can work a lot on colours and details. Also, this allows me to make quality prints, which is important for my fine artwork, and is really amazing considering the size of the camera!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am currently continuing to work with X-T50 and looking for summer to come to capture even more colorful details of the summer season.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For macro photography in nature, I mainly used the XF30mmF2.8 R LM WR Macro lens. Initially, I also used the XF50mmF1.0 R WR and XF80mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro which, however, are too unbalanced for the compact size of the X-T50, even though the performance is incredible, the lens then becomes uncomfortable to carry.
