Second Power Zoom Lens in the GF Lens Lineup Expands into the Wide-Angle Range
July 9, 2026
FUJIFILM Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Teiichi Goto) announces the launch of FUJINON GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR, a new interchangeable lens for the GFX Series equipped with a large-format sensor approximately 1.7 times larger than a 35mm full-frame sensor. The product will be available from July 23, 2026.
GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR is the second power zoom lens in the GF lens lineup, offering a focal length of 19–35mm (equivalent to 15–28mm in 35mm format). It combines excellent operability for filmmaking production with high build quality. The lens inherits the operability and design of the Premista Series while adopting a configuration optimized for power zoom and a DC motor, achieving a lightweight design of approximately 2.1 kg. When used with FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55, it supports efficient and high-quality filmmaking workflows.
GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR achieves high resolution comparable to that of a prime lens, despite being a zoom lens, by minimizing optical aberrations to the utmost degree. When paired with the GFX Series, it enables high-quality video expression that fully leverages the system’s superior tonal gradation and exceptional detail reproduction.
In addition, the lens maintains a bright maximum aperture of T3.5 throughout the zoom range, allowing for precise exposure control in line with the creator’s intent.
Furthermore, it delivers consistent color reproduction and tonal characteristics with GF32-90mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR, enabling seamless integration when both lenses are used within the same production, thereby improving efficiency in post-production workflows.
When used in combination with GFX ETERNA 55 and GF32-90mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR, GF19-35mmT3.5 PZ OIS WR enables a streamlined shooting style that minimizes both equipment requirements and crew workload. This combination not only enhances production efficiency but also significantly expands creative flexibility, opening up new possibilities in filmmaking.
*1 An image sensor with a diagonal length of 54.8 mm (43.8 mm × 32.9 mm), offering approximately 1.7 times the area of a 35mm full-frame sensor.
*2 Power zoom control is available via both the camera body and the lens on the GFX ETERNA 55. On the GFX100 II, power zoom control is supported only via the lens.
*3 The Premista Series consists of zoom lenses designed for large-format cinema cameras, enabling high-quality filmmaking, and includes models covering wide-angle, standard, and telephoto ranges.
