F\u00fcr das Vorhaben digitalisieren Fachleute Dias aus dem Magnum-Archiv in Paris unter Einsatz von Fujifilm-Ger\u00e4ten, wobei die spiegellose Mittelformatkamera <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fujifilm-x.com\/de-de\/products\/cameras\/gfx100-ii\/\"><strong>FUJIFILM GFX100 II<\/strong><\/a> zum Einsatz kommt. Anhand unver\u00f6ffentlichter Dias aus dem Magnum-Archiv reflektierte Soth dar\u00fcber, wie er die Geschichte dieser traumhaften Stadt \u2013 einem der meistbesuchten und zugleich klischeehaftesten Orte der Welt \u2013 narrativ aufbereiten k\u00f6nne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dennis Stock inspirierte Soth dazu, erstmals nach Venedig zu reisen, genauer gesagt ins Hotel Danieli, um dort eine neue Serie als Reaktion auf seine Kuration zu erstellen. Das Hotel wurde f\u00fcr ihn zum Nicht-Ort. Zimmer 303, in dem er einige Tage verbrachte, verwandelte sich in ein tempor\u00e4res Fotostudio, sein Atelier. Mit der GFX100 II fotografierte er eine Serie, die wie ein <strong>visuelles Tagebuch<\/strong> wirkt. Ich verwende die Kamera auf vielf\u00e4ltige Weise: Zum einen mit einem <strong>Teleobjektiv f\u00fcr Aufnahmen durch das Fenster<\/strong>, zum anderen mit einem <strong>Tilt-Shift-Objektiv f\u00fcr Stillleben<\/strong>. Der Magnum-Fotograf taucht gleichzeitig tief in sein Inneres ein \u2013 ganz typisch f\u00fcr seine Arbeit, die lieber das \u201eInnere\u201c als das \u201e\u00c4u\u00dfere\u201c ins Rampenlicht stellt. Soth erkl\u00e4rt: \u201eIch habe beschlossen, Venedig gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils in meiner Vorstellung zu belassen. <strong>Die Gondeln lagen direkt vor meinem Fenster, doch ich blieb im Hotel<\/strong>.
