Photo Hangout: After Hours Stories

On 22 March, a group of passionate photographers have come together in town for an exclusive evening photo hangout guided by the Fujifilm Product Specialist. The event aimed to go deeper into captivating night photography, practicing in one of Singapore’s most iconic night scenes.

The objective of the event is to assist participants in conquering their fear of navigating through camera settings in low light conditions. It aimed to teach them how to capture breathtaking night scenes without the need for a tripod. Additionally, it aimed to empower them with the knowledge and confidence to explore solo, equipped with the necessary skills to identify key elements to focus on.

Along the way, participants were guided on how to identify interesting subjects and compositions, despite the challenges of low light.

Prior to the walk, Product Specialist Jere Chong enthusiastically shared and demonstrated the meticulously crafted camera settings perfect for capturing stunning night photography with Fujifilm cameras. Participants were warmly encouraged to adjust to these settings on their camera and capturing test shots to fully grasp the effect of the various configurations.

Throughout the event, attendees were encouraged to ask questions, seek clarification, and share their experiences. By the end of the session, participants were filled with a renewed sense of confidence in their skills to capture captivating night scenes and mastered these camera settings.

All photos were taken using the Fujifilm X-S20 with XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR
