Dave is a Seattle-based photographer and educator. In addition to travel and editorial assignments, his work appears in publications including Communication Arts, Audubon, Orion, Outside, National Geographic Traveler, Islands, Rangefinder, B&W, Outdoor Photographer, NY Times, LA Times, and on podcasts Hit The Streets, TWIP and Black Rapid Media. He has led over fifty creative photography workshops at Maine Media Workshops, Santa Fe Workshops, Anderson Ranch, Vancouver Photo Workshops, at sea with UnCruise. Dave also leads photographers on cultural travel adventures to destinations in the US, Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Europe and India. He collaborates with photography industry developers and is an awarded educator at University of Washington and Seattle Central Creative Academy.
