Daniel Tengs
From Oslo, Norway
Daniel Tengs picked up his first camera at the age of 15, and sold his first photo when he turned 19. True to the frigid climates of his home, he specializes in extreme snow sports, with a vested personal interest. Traveling the world with just a camera and snowboard, he has seen many sights in his three decades of life.
For Daniel, passion has gone hand in hand with professional success, having worked with most of the major publications in his genre. He’s earned over 20 covers and photographed his way onto the front page of Transworld Snowboarding – the biggest snowboard magazine in the world. As a FUJIFILM X-Photographer, he remains “stoked” to represent a mirrorless future.
Ahead of Fujikina 2022, Daniel was set the exciting task of pushing the new FUJIFILM X-H2’s limits. True to form, he photographed a trio of action sports – snowboarding, ski jumping, and mountain biking. In many ways, the result is a joint celebration of human and technological achievement. In his skilled hands, the powerful body was able to track and freeze staggering sporting moments, all to be beheld in astounding resolution.
