Rachael Porter is a multi-skilled, creative filmmaker based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has worked with a multitude of individuals, nonprofits, and businesses to produce award-winning, story-driven campaign videos, as well as short fiction. Her output includes corporate and aerial videos, testimonials, and weddings.
Throughout the many roles she’s played as a director, director of photography, editor, and producer, Rachael is most passionate about getting to know the people behind the stories. She approaches projects with an intentionality that celebrates and supports local communities, businesses, and individuals, while connecting audiences to a central idea. She values collaboration in the creative process in order to share the many unique voices and experiences in a way that respects and uplifts.
Rachael directed a short film for Fujikina NYC that tells the story of a young flower gardener setting out to grow her first crop. The film explores the common experience of self-doubt and imposter syndrome that many creatives face.
