It also supports backup\/restore of camera settings via USB cable. The software can be downloaded from the FUJIFILM website for free.<\/p>\n<h3>Download<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fujifilm.com\/support\/digital_cameras\/software\/x_acquire\/win\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Windows Version<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fujifilm.com\/support\/digital_cameras\/software\/x_acquire\/mac\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Mac Version<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Install<\/h3>\n<p>Double-click on the downloaded file to install.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Windows<\/span><br \/>\nInstall the FUJIFILM X Acquire by following the instructions in the window.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Mac<\/span><br \/>\nDrag the FUJIFILM X Acquire icon to the Application folder.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/install-final.png\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/install-final.png\" alt=\"Image\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><h2>User Guide 1- Preparing for Tethered Shooting<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Put the camera in tether operation mode.<\/h3>\n<p>Follow the Owner&#8217;s Manual or New Feature Guide instruction and select the PC SHOOT MODE (PC SHOOT AUTO, USB AUTO, USB TETHER SHOOTING AUTO)<\/p>\n<p>In the AUTO settings (PC SHOOT AUTO \/ USB AUTO), the camera acts normally when not connected to a Mac or PC, and goes into the tethered shooting mode when connected to a Mac or PC. Note that when the camera is in its default state of tethered shooting, it does not record images to its memory card.<br \/>\n<sub>* During tethered shooting with the camera in the AUTO (PC SHOOT AUTO \/ USB AUTO \/ USB TETHER SHOOTING AUTO) mode, if you unplug the USB cable connecting your camera and computer while there are still images in the camera awaiting transfer to the connected Mac or PC, the camera goes back into normal mode, resulting in the loss of the images awaiting transfer.\u00a0 You can avoid losing images this way by selecting the FIXED settings (PC SHOOT FIXED \/ USB FIXED \/ USB TETHER SHOOTING FIXED). However, in this case, the camera stays in the tethered shooting mode regardless of whether any USB cable is connected.<\/sub><\/p>\n<h3>2. Use a USB cable to connect the camera with your Mac or PC<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/03-003-USB.png\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/03-003-USB.png\" alt=\"Image\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><h3>3. Follow the instructions in the window and specify the destination folder. You can specify where your images should be saved according to their types.
