The spark to experiment \u2013 initially very casually \u2013 was not just as a result of our long-standing interest in the genre. It was principally the acquisition of what seemed like an interesting daily-use camera \u2013 the newly-released FUJIFILM X100.<\/p>\n<p>A few years later, the FUJIFILM X-T1\u2019s arrival sparked further forays into the artform. The compact powerhouse was even used during weddings, for shots where discretion was of the utmost importance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp_flexbox col2\">\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/10-YEARS-OF-X-MOUNT-YORK-PLACE-STUDIOS-1.jpg?width=581&#038;height=363\" alt=\"Bride holding flowers on London street with groom, children and bridesmaids behind \" width=\"581\" height=\"363\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/fujifilm-x.b-cdn.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/10-YEARS-OF-X-MOUNT-YORK-PLACE-STUDIOS-2.jpg?width=581&#038;height=363\" alt=\"Busy wedding party on a London street with guests of all ages having fun\" width=\"581\" height=\"363\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><p>But when the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fujifilm-x.com\/ko-kr\/products\/cameras\/x-pro2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FUJIFILM X-Pro2<\/a> landed in 2016, it\u2019s fair to say it was a game-changer in our eyes. This was a camera that became not just sometimes-street and occasional pro-use \u2013 this was the replace-all system that allowed us to unify the two different approaches to our work. The X-Pro2 presented us not only with a perfect street photography form, but with the dual-card slots, fast focus, top-notch lenses and professional capabilities required to also be our primary wedding camera.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In short, the camera removed certain obstacles. It was compact and lightweight. The rear screen released us from the constraints of the viewfinder, and the photography experience simply became more fun.
