{"id":28383,"date":"2018-05-02T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T03:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fujifilmnxtc.wpenginepowered.com\/x-photographers\/prashant-panjiar\/"},"modified":"2018-05-02T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2018-05-02T03:00:00","slug":"prashant-panjiar","status":"publish","type":"photographer","link":"https:\/\/www.fujifilm-x.com\/sl-si\/photographers\/prashant-panjiar\/","title":{"rendered":"Prashant Panjiar"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"xphotographerspost__detail_data_motto_texts motto_texts\">\n<p>Born 1957, <b>Prashant Panjiar<\/b> is a photographer, picture editor and curator.<br \/>\nHe has worked as a photojournalist and editor in mainstream media (India Today, Outlook &amp; Indian Express) and as an independent photojournalist for leading publications such as Time Magazine, Focus, New York Times, amongst others. As a documentary photographer he works on issues of health, education and livelihood for international non-profit organizations such as the Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Foundation, American India Foundation, UNFPA, IPPF &amp; HIV-AIDS Alliance.\u00a0<br \/>\nPanjiar has curated all 3 editions of the Delhi Photo Festival (2011-15) of which he is the co-founder and co- Creative Director. In 2014 he curated a permanent collection of contemporary photography for the new corporate building of Star TV India in Mumbai. In 2015 as Creative Director he curated, and helped conceive the first edition of Sensorium, a festival of Arts, Literature &amp; Ideas for Sunaparanta, the Goa Centre for the Arts. He is the project curator for Kanu\u2019s Gandhi, the third title in the Nazar Photography Monographs series, and of the resulting exhibition.
