File Transmitter (FT-XH) of firmware update steps<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The procedure below is explained with the combination of a camera and \u201dFile Transmitter (FT-XH)\u201d without a lens.
And the current version is \u201c1.00\u201d and the updated version \u201c1.10\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Prepare the necessities for the firmware update.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. A camera and \u201dFile Transmitter (FT-XH)\u201d to be updated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A fully charged battery for the camera \/ A fully charged battery for the \u201dFile Transmitter (FT-XH)\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A formatted memory card<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The firmware (to be downloaded from this site.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Firmware version checking procedure.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    1. Turn off the camera and put the card in it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Attach the \u201dFile Transmitter (FT-XH)\u201d to the camera and tighten the detachable dial to secure it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Turn on the camera pressing \u201cDIP \/ BACK\u201d button of the camera to check the firmware version. (In the pictures below, the version of the FILE TRANSMITTER is \u201c1.00\u201d.)

    4. Turn off the camera.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      If the version is the latest, the firmware update is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      3. Prepare the formatted memory card.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      A formatted memory card is required for the firmware update. If the card is formatted, all the files including protected files in the card will be erased. If you need the files, copy them to a PC etc. before formatting the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Turn on the camera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Press \u201cMENU\/OK\u201d button and select \u201cFORMAT\u201d in the SET-UP menu.

      3. Press the selector button(up) to select \u201cOK\u201d and press the \u201cMENU\/OK\u201d button. Then, the format will start.
        Turn the camera off after the format is completed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        4. Download the firmware and copy it to the card.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        1. Put the formatted memory card to a card reader slot of your PC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Download the firmware \u201cFTUP0001.DAT\u201d for the \u201dFile Transmitter (FT-XH)\u201d .\n
