Gaui H(Iceland)

I have been shooting pictures since I was about 9 years old.. But only as a hobby until 5 years ago. I was a working in a job that was taking me nowhere and that pushed me into going after my passion. I quit that job and started working as a professional photographer.


I accidentally got into shooting musicvideos as well when I shot a fun project with some friends of mine and that has taken me further than I would ever believed in my career as a photographer and now…A filmmaker. I have worked with band from all over Europe like Enslaved, Shining, Tvinna, The biggest rockbands in Iceland, Sólstafir and Dimma, along with other great bands.


These days I am shooting 2 documentaries and planning the recordings of the 3rd one. That one we will start shooting in the coming month. I have been published in few magazines like the music magazines Noise magazine, Kerrang and Distorted sound. And the Harley Davidson magazine 1903 magazine in America. I have been shooting alot as well for Icelandic outdoors clothing brands called Zo-on Iceland and Icewear along with all sorts of products.
