Photo Hangout: Glowing Wonders iLight 2023

The hangout held at iLight 2023 offered participants a unique opportunity to enhance their skills and expand their creative horizons.

This workshop taught attendees valuable insights and mastered the art of handheld photography in a street photography setting, overcoming the need for tripods while achieving perfect exposure.

Participants were introduced to the crucial camera settings that are instrumental in obtaining sharp and well-exposed images while shooting handheld. They learned about the importance of adjusting shutter speed, aperture, and ISO settings to optimize their results in various lighting conditions, including the challenging ones.

Through hands-on activities, attendees discovered the capabilities of their cameras beyond the manual mode. They explored various shooting modes, such as aperture priority and shutter priority, to gain greater control over their images. Additionally, they learned to utilize exposure compensation and metering techniques to achieve optimal exposure in different lighting scenarios.
