FUJIFILM X Different Class – Shooting Stars Photography Exhibition and Competition (2026)
1. Organizer and Exhibition
The organizers of the Shooting Stars 2026 exhibition, follow-up program, and competition are FUJIFILM Belgium NV, Europark-Noord 21-22, 9100 Sint-Niklaas (“FUJIFILM”), and Different Class BV, Dendermondsesteenweg 80A, 9000 Ghent (“Different Class”).
The exhibition will take place at:
Ancienne Belgique, Anspachlaan 110, 1000 Brussels,
on 30 January 2026, during Sound of the Belgian Underground festival.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals aged 16 years and older residing in Belgium.
To participate, entrants must upload one photograph via the official online Jotform submission form (link to be provided) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
3. Procedure
3.1 Each participant may submit only one photograph. All submissions must be made via the official online form. Submissions through any other means will not be accepted.
3.2 The photograph must be in JPEG format and may not exceed 10 MB in size.
When uploading, participants must provide their full name and email address. Participants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided.
3.3 By uploading a photograph, the participant agrees to take part in the exhibition and its follow-up activities in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
3.4 Submitted photographs and personal data will be stored and used exclusively as described in this document.
3.5 Participants are not automatically entitled to have their photograph exhibited. FUJIFILM and Different Class reserve the right to exclude any photograph deemed unsuitable, offensive, or contrary to applicable law. Examples include photographs that infringe copyright, contain prohibited content, are defamatory or degrading, or are submitted with malicious intent (e.g., harassment or bullying). FUJIFILM and Different Class are under no obligation to notify participants of such decisions.
3.6 Printed photographs will be gifted to the selected photographers after the exhibition concludes.
4. Transfer of Rights / Consent
By uploading a photograph, the participant irrevocably grants FUJIFILM and Different Class, including their affiliated entities, a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use the photograph for the exhibition and related public relations (PR) activities.
This license includes, but is not limited to, the right to publish, reproduce, illustrate, and display the photograph for promotional purposes related to the exhibition and to the presentation of FUJIFILM and Different Class.
This authorization includes:
a) display at the exhibition;
b) use in publications and press coverage;
c) display on the FUJIFILM and Different Class intranets, social media channels, and websites.
Any further or commercial use shall require separate written consent from the participant.
5. Ownership and Third-Party Rights
By uploading a photograph, the participant declares that they are the sole creator and rights holder of the submitted photograph and that the photograph does not infringe any applicable laws or third-party rights.
The participant further declares that any identifiable persons depicted in the photograph have consented to its use in connection with this campaign.
The participant shall indemnify and hold harmless FUJIFILM, Different Class, their affiliates, and the exhibition organizers from and against any claims made by third parties arising from or related to the use of the photograph as described in these Terms and Conditions.
6. No Remuneration
Participants acknowledge and agree that they shall not receive any compensation or fee for submitting their photograph or for any subsequent use as described herein.
7. Competition
7.1 Among all participants, three winners will be selected by a jury composed of representatives from FUJIFILM, Different Class, and Ancienne Belgique.
The winners will:
- Exhibit a curated selection of their work at The Sound of the Belgian Underground festival at Ancienne Belgique;
- Receive a FUJIFILM camera of their choice on loan for one month;
- Be offered the opportunity to undertake a paid assignment for both FUJIFILM and Different Class in 2026.
7.2 If a selected participant fails to confirm acceptance of their selection within five (5) days, the jury reserves the right to select an alternate winner. Participants are responsible for the accuracy of their contact details; if a winner cannot be reached due to incorrect information, their claim to the prize shall lapse.
7.3 The organizers may contact participants via the provided contact details (e.g., email) as necessary for the administration of the competition.
7.4 Participants consent to the publication of their names in connection with the competition, the selection process, or the presentation of submissions in online and offline media. However, the organizers are under no obligation to do so.
7.5 FUJIFILM will print the photographs at its own expense and may combine them into a larger collage for exhibition. Each printed photograph will be displayed along with the participant’s full name.
8. General Provisions
8.1 FUJIFILM and Different Class shall not be held liable for any technical issues encountered during submission or upload. The organizers reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or amend the exhibition or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice or justification, particularly if continuation is not feasible for technical or legal reasons.
8.2 Participation shall be governed by Belgian law. Any disputes arising from or relating to this event shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
9. Data Protection
9.1 The protection of personal data is of utmost importance to FUJIFILM and Different Class. Personal data will be collected, processed, and stored solely for the purpose of organizing the exhibition and conducting the related media and social media activities described herein.
If you register for newsletters or other marketing communications, the data you provide will be used to send such communications in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Uploaded photographs and submitted personal data will be deleted by 31 December 2026 at the latest.
