For me, photography is a pause
It’s a way of slowing down and paying attention to what usually goes unnoticed. Small gestures, quiet moments, simple scenes that many people walk past without seeing. When I photograph, I’m not looking for something extraordinary — I’m looking to romanticize the everyday, to give value to details that already hold beauty on their own.
“Calma” was born from that feeling. It’s about photographing without rush, allowing moments to unfold naturally in front of the camera. I’m especially drawn to soft, natural light — the first and last hours of the day, overcast skies, or moments when the light feels gentle.
Built on REALA ACE, “Calma” keeps colors and tones faithful to reality, while introducing a very subtle warmth that gently accompanies the scene without taking over. It’s a warmth that feels natural, enhancing golden tones when the light is lower— often during winter days or when the sun sits closer to the horizon. Fine grain adds texture and a tangible quality, recalling real memories. In shaded areas, the image retains depth and softness, while under softer light that warmth becomes slightly more noticeable, reinforcing the calm atmosphere of the moment.
