ConnectThe Hidden People
The project explores the deep connection between Iceland and its mythology, examining how ancient legends continue to shape local identity and perceptions of reality. Iceland, a land of primordial contrasts, offers a landscape that is itself a silent storyteller. The rock formations, jagged coastlines and misty peaks are not just geological features, but the protagonists and theatres of countless stories: elves, petrified trolls, sea monsters and nature spirits. The project aims to capture how the visual power of the landscape intertwines with the collective imagination, still influencing everyday life and a deep respect for the wilderness. It is a journey that reveals how, in Iceland, myth is not a remnant of the past, but a living lens through which to view the world.
