Everyday, Seen Differently
I’ve always believed that the most interesting moments aren’t the obvious ones. They’re the pauses between meetings, the quiet cafés tucked away from main streets, the way light hits a cup of coffee just before you take the first sip.

As a Singapore-based comms person, I travel often, simply to wander and uncover new things and photogenic spots. Whether it’s sunny afternoons in Singapore, café hopping through Tokyo, or slow mornings in Bangkok, I’m always challenging myself to capture daily life through a different perspective. That’s where my Fujifilm cameras come in.

The X-M5 is my constant travel companion. It’s compact, capable, and gives me the flexibility to frame scenes the way I feel them – not rushed, not overly polished. When I want to go even lighter, I bring the X half. It strips things back, helping me enjoy the moment while still offering a perspective that feels intentional and different from my phone.

One thing I’ve always loved about Fujifilm is its FS RECIPE. I often use REALA ACE as my base and customise it to suit my taste and mood — fine-tuning colors and tones until they feel just right. REALA ACE is incredibly versatile, with its balanced tones and natural contrast working beautifully across café interiors, street scenes, and everyday moments.

Colors feel honest, refined, and never overpowering. It’s become one of my go-to Film Simulations because it adapts effortlessly to wherever I am.
With Film Simulations and FS RECIPEs, I am able to use the images SOOC and share images directly to my social platforms. It lets me move quickly, without heavy editing or breaking my creative flow.
For me, photography isn’t about chasing spectacle. It’s about noticing the everyday – and seeing it, just a little differently.
