Silvia Pogoda is a multimedia artist—photographer, director, illustrator, and columnist. She holds the distinction of being the first woman to serve as an ambassador for Fujifilm Poland. 

Born in Slovakia, Silvia earned a PhD in political science. She also graduated from the Institute of Creative Photography at Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic, and from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. 

Professionally, Silvia works as a photographer, director, and art director. She collaborates with renowned musicians to create visual content and also writes columns for various publications. In addition, she is frequently invited to give lectures and lead photography workshops. 

Silvia also pursues personal projects that integrate photography, text, collages, and other visual forms. In 2021, she published her first photo book, Butterflies, featuring images taken in Japan. Silvia can masterfully capture reality, which infuses her photographs with a non-obvious, subtle, poetic, and deeply personal quality.
